EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

EDI refers to the communication of orders, invoices and similar transactions conducted electronically between organizations using a standardized format, set by the American National Standard Accredited Subcommittee X12 (ANSI ASC X12). Benefits include the ability to exchange EDI documents with customers via traditional VAN (Value Added Network) or via Internet (standard FTP protocol, no proprietary client packaged required). We support the ANSI X12 v.4010 standard.
